Canada West is exploring the viability of an in-person writing retreat for our members, to be partially funded by our treasury reserves. Each participant would be responsible for their own travel, lodging, and some meals.
The format would be all day Friday and Saturday, and half day on Sunday.
The proposed presentations would include one craft or marketing presentation each morning and afternoon, an open mic group critique exercise, and an evening creativity exercise or brainstorming session. The remaining time would be free for writing, connecting with colleagues, and relaxing.
